Dental Fillings

If you suspect you have a cavity, a filling is typically the best solution. We specialize in composite, tooth-colored fillings at your dentist in Reno, ensuring the best aesthetic results and a long lasting restoration that will protect your smile for years to come. So don’t wait. If you have a sore or sensitive tooth, get treatment now. Getting a filling early will prevent complications like further decay or tooth infection, which will require more costly, invasive treatments.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Cavities, or tooth decay, is one of the most common dental problems patients experience. With tooth-colored fillings, our Reno dentist can repair your cavity and restore function to your affected tooth. If you’re experiencing cavity symptoms, such as tooth sensitivity or pain, contact our dental team today for an appointment.

Anterior Root Canal Therapy

If you’re experiencing symptoms of a tooth infection, such as swelling, abscess, tooth pain, and sensitivity, you need to seek treatment right away to prevent the need for an extraction.

When you leave tooth decay untreated or sustain dental trauma, your tooth’s soft inside layer, known as the dental pulp, can become damaged and inflamed. The only cure for a tooth infection is to remove the infected pulp. During a root canal, we remove the infected pulp through a pulpectomy and then we clean all of the tooth’s canals.

The anterior (front) teeth contain fewer canals than the molars, which can contain up to 3, so this takes less time and can usually be completed in one appointment. The canals are also sanitized and shaped in preparation for the inside of the tooth to be filled.

CEREC Crowns

Have a damaged, decayed, or broken tooth? A dental crown will hold a broken tooth together, protect a weak tooth from further damage, and offer strength and durability to restore your ability to eat your favorite foods.

Whether you’ve chipped your tooth from teeth grinding, broken a tooth from playing sports, or have a large cavity, a crown can save a tooth that would otherwise break under the wear and tear of everyday life.

With CEREC technology, we’re able to create a custom-fit highly aesthetic tooth restoration in a single appointment. Lab crowns take weeks to fabricate and send back to the dental office, requiring multiple commutes and appointments, plus long wait times.

Our CAD/CAM technology enables us to take 3D high-definition images of your teeth, upload them to our software, and 3D print your new dental crown which is carved out of a ceramic block with our milling machine.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge can restore your smile and tooth functionality by replacing a missing tooth or a few missing teeth. Where there’s a gap in your smile, we’ll place dental crowns on the abutment teeth that are on opposite sides of the gap.

A pontic tooth is attached in the middle and suspended in the gums to replace the missing tooth. A dental bridge is a fixed restoration so you don’t have to worry about removing it. Bridges last for 5 to 7 years before needing to be replaced.

Patients feel an instant boost of confidence knowing that no one is looking at their missing tooth anymore. Bridges make chewing and speaking much easier and restore missing support to your mouth.

When you lose a tooth, your bite will shift if you don’t replace it right away due to bone loss. This can lead to orthodontic problems that require braces to correct. A shift in your bite can also lead to TMJ/TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder). A dental bridge prevents all of these complications of tooth loss.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are a set of one or more false teeth that stay in place by clipping onto your remaining healthy teeth. They are a great option for restoring a few missing teeth on a budget.

Full Dentures

Full dentures replace a full set of upper, lower, or both rows of teeth. They are usually only recommended for people who have lost most or all of their teeth due to past oral health issues. This is because they require the extraction of all remaining teeth.
